PurePurge™ Inc. is a manufacturer and global distributor of cutting-edge photo-dynamic, disinfection products.
From it's Southern California laboratories, PurePurge™  has developed a patented method of taking one of the most photo-sensitising substances available and rendering it transiently water soluble, resulting in an organic, photo-sensitive dye that can be deposited into or onto the surface of a vast range of substrates, fabrics and materials.

In the presence of LIGHT, this proprietary organic dye - PurePurge™ -  acts as catalyst to generate highly reactive singlet oxygen molecules, which attack and destroy any microbes present on the material or substrate.

PurePurge™ Inc. has perfected its' process to commercially manufacture large quantities of singlet oxygen and successfully blend it with a variety of modern and traditional anti-microbials into its' proprietary photo-sensitising organic dye, PurePurge™.

ACTIVATION

The organic dye that is incorporated into PurePurge™ is activated by all forms of light, including both artificial and natural sunlight. When the photo-sensitising ingredients in PurePurge™ are exposed to light, these molecules become excited into a higher energy state.

PRODUCTION

Part of the energy produced from the photo-sensitive dye is then absorbed by naturally present oxygen molecules around it, transforming these "ground-state" molecules, into highly reactive,"excited-state" singlet oxygen molecules.  As long as the PurePurge™ photo-dynamic dye is in the presence of light, it will continue to produce singlet oxygen molecules.

TERMINATION

Singlet oxygen is a safe, yet highly reactive, oxygen species and will react with any nearby biomolecules. Singlet oxygen has long been known to be non-selective in its reactions with bacteria, viruses and other microbes, rendering them 100% neutralised upon contact.

DID YOU KNOW?

Singlet oxygen has no specific target within a microbe - it is completely non-selective.
PurePurge™ oxidises the entire cell instead of poisoning or puncturing a specific site.

There is no known resistance to PurePurge™ which has been clinically proven to kill:

  • Gram Positive Bacteria

  • Gram Negative Bacteria

  • Enveloped Viruses

  • Non-Enveloped Viruses

  • Fungi

  • Mold

  • Spores
